In our coaching practice, we support individuals, teams and organizations in building the capabilities they need to meet the demands of leadership in times of opportunity, challenge and turbulence. As coaches, we help people embody new ways of being so that they can respond to life in more competent, creative and meaningful ways. We also work at all levels within organizations to develop and apply coaching skills as an integrated part of management and leadership competence. For the last 25 years, we have led coaching circles in a wide variety of business, government and volunteer organizations around the world. We have also provided training to hundreds of coaches and facilitators in the design and delivery of this technology. Our goal is to promote coaching circles as a vehicle to help individuals, organizations and communities flourish and achieve what matters most to them.

I am very inspired by how people flourish when they open their hearts and minds to what life asks of them. This takes a capacity to hold what we know with lightness so that reality can reveal its mysteries and gifts to us in perfect time. Until we can completely surrender to this flow, we make plans and defend our positions in our pursuit of success and happiness. In my world, I constantly go back and forth between these realms. This is where MY work is and it’s where I work with people who are dedicated to their own development.
It’s in this spirit that I have trained coaches, organizational development professionals and other human development specialists for over 20 years in the design & facilitation of Coaching Circles. It’s what also supports my role as senior faculty member with New Ventures West (NVW) and co-founder of Convivium, an integral development coaching school offering the ICF-accredited NVW professional coaching course in Canada and France. Similarly, I find it extremely rewarding to work as a coach and consultant in the area of executive and leadership development with teams and organizations around the world who are leading change in times of increasing complexity and turbulence.

I’ve always been curious about the inner and outer landscapes that shape our lives and enable us to flourish. Perhaps it’s not so odd then that I came to be an integral development coach through a multi-faceted career in the domains of biology, geography, environmental planning, public consultation, adult learning and leadership development. I’ve had the privilege of coaching individuals and groups in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors for 20+ years now and I am particularly inspired when I encounter people who are willing to venture into new horizons and shift their perspective about or expand their awareness of themselves, others and the world around them. I’ve learned from my own “venturing” just how much courage, compassion and steadfastness this requires and also how rewarding it can be. So I am motivated to support others to do the same – to explore what’s possible well beyond the limits of their imaginations and assumptions. I believe that Coaching Circles foster this type of exploration and teach us what attuned support is – so fundamental when working our “development edge.” That’s the reason I like this methodology so much and why I am devoted to enriching people’s capacity to become facilitators of this work.

There are moments that amaze us in life, no matter how many times we have experienced them. I am always dazzled by the magic of accompanying someone who is tapping into their full potential and triggering a multitude of positive waves and vibrations. I have dedicated my career to helping create these moments: to support individuals navigate change with kindness and resilience, thereby helping the organizations of which they are part.
I have worked with public and private organizations for more than two decades to reconcile the rigor of science with human potential as a path to carrying out their transformation process.
For me, coaching and specifically coaching circles are the natural extension of this journey. It has transformed my practice and offers all who join with a powerful response to our increasingly complex world. I am looking forward to facilitating this exploration and discovery of a connection with an unknown facet of yourself, one that is ready to be revealed.

Being a better leader starts with being a better human. Unless deliberately planned and addressed, taking time out of a busy schedule to work on your own personal and professional growth is almost impossible. It’s the first thing to get cut out or put off when your calendar fills up.
Your Coaching Circle is protected time in your schedule to work on yourself and the most important leadership challenges within the role and context you are facing. Through my work with hundreds of leaders within some world-leading organizations, I’ve learned that coaching circles:
– Build and develop crucial leadership skills
– Support the work on, and resolution of real-world issues
– Provide leaders the time to reflect and learn as they take action, and
– Provide a tangible answer to the isolation so many leaders face, by building a trusted and confidential network of peers
These area few of the very tangible benefits of this methodology. I look forward to sitting amongst you one day and supporting your development.
